Bidrodeo.com is one of the more trusted penny auction websites. Penny auctions generally get the same scrutiny as weight loss companies, which is a shame because if you have a little bit of time, you can get some amazing bargains.

Bidmac charged my credit card $149.99 for ‘free bids.’ Like the 20 other respondents on factson.net, I was furious to find a debit for this amount to my bank account even though there was no item in my shopping cart and I received no confirmation of purchase. When I called for a refund, they told me I would get one in a week. When a week went by and I hadn’t received anything, they told me they ‘forgot’ and would send the request through again. I have no Christmas shopping money as a result. These people are dishonest frauds. Only one of the twenty claimants on factson won any bid. He paid $168 for a MACPRO. He spent $35 on bids and the total number of bids was 16,800 for a grand total of almost $11,000 for this bargain! To make matters worse, Chase Bank will not credit my account with a provisional $149.99 because they say I authorized the payment (apparently they haven’t seen the factson site). I cannot imagine what Bidmac told them over the phone. I do know this, however, it probably took Bidmac a good 20 minutes to answer because that is how long they made me wait. A word to the wise, DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!
